We thank keenan for posting his excellent build log in our forum. It looks equally good with the side panel on too! This system would look perfect as a Battlefield 4 or Call of Duty box. The final product certainly has that extremely weathered look. This included removing the heat spreaders from his Vengeance memory.Īfter the removal, keenan used a special process (detailed in his build log) to achieve the descired look on the spreaders. He took the extra time and effort to apply and aged and weathered look to the entire build. Keenan used the appropriate paints but was apparently not content just to work with simple paint colors. There was a lot of custom power cabling done on this rig. Keenan even went as far as to sleeve the SATA cables. Project Marshlands is a military themed build with desert camo coloring. • How should I proceed if they can't be taken out without breaking the module? And how should I go about painting it? Would be a bit stupid to spend a ton of money on an expensive spay praint setup just to paint two plastic pieces. Ideally by taking the plastic bits out of the front panel and spray painting them.
  • I'm going to repaint the power and reset buttons.
  • What can I use to cut the sheet into the appropriate shape and drill the many holes? Will a box cutter and a regular drill bit do or will they scrape/crack the plastic? I'd like to replace it with a clear acrylic panel from a hardware shop.
  • The window is too dark and the fan holes are quite ugly.
